The inaugural meeting of the brand new South Huron council took place last night. (Monday)
Following a great introduction by the South Huron Choir, members took an oath to office to kick off the meeting.
New Ward 1 Councilor Milt Dietrich, and Ward 2 Councilor Marc Denomme took their oaths for the first time.
Each member was also given a chance to address the public before the meeting started off, and Dietrich thanked his family.
Denomme thanked his family and voters.
Beside the 2 newcomers, South Huron council remains the same with Mayor George Finch, Deputy Jim Dietrich, Ward 1 councilor Marissa Vaughan, Ward 2 councilor Aaron Neeb, and Ward 3 councilor Ted Oke.
