A significant barn fire took place early this morning.
Police, along with fire departments from Goderich, Clinton, Brucefield, Bayfield and Blyth all responded to the barn around 1 AM on Cut Line in Central Huron.
14 cows and 9 chickens sadly perished in the fire, and 3 barns were destroyed along with straw, feed and equipment.
The estimated loss is between $1 and $3 million dollars.
