The Vitality Fund is now open for Community Groups within South Huron.
Tom Prout, Chairman of the South Huron Vitality Fund, tells myFM the fund helps make registered charities and organizations make a difference in the community.
Prout tells myFM the Sunset Community Foundation is 20 years old, and the Vitality Fund is a part of it. He says the Vitality Fund was created in partnership with South Huron.
The money at the foundation and fund is capital invested, meaning the money is always there and always growing, which allows for long term investments.
Prout says the fund has already helped so many organizations in South Huron.
If you are not a registered charitable organization, you can partner with an organization that is to apply for the Vitality Fund.
