Water rates in South Huron have increased. The Municipality states that the increase is part of the three-year rate increases approved by Council in 2021.
The water base charge and wastewater base charge have increased. However, the wastewater consumptive charge and debt re-payment charge have not changed.
Garbage and recycling have also increased in the Municipality.
Water Consumptive Charge increases from $1.82/m3 to $1.84/m3.
Wastewater has increased to $1.81 per cubic metre.

Garbage Bins, Small (35 gallon) $101.08 per year per bin
Garbage Bins, Medium (65 gallon) $126.50 per year per bin
