An internationally touring sculpture of the earth is the centrepiece of the Huron Waves Music Festival 2023 season.
Festival Artistic Director John Miller tells 90.5 myFM – the exhibit called GAIA is an eyeful.
Miller says the GAIA giant sphere sculpture is made up of photographic images of Earth taken from space.
Miller says given the planetary theme of this year’s HURON WAVES festival, the GAIA sculpture is timely.
It was Miller’s past experience working with the artist that made it possible to bring the GAIA exhibit to Exeter.
The sphere sculpture will be in Exeter from June 1st to July 3rd – suspended from the ceiling of Trivitt Memorial Church.
Tickets to the event will be sold closer to the event date through the Huron Waves website: https://ticketpeak.co/HuronWaves/events
