Huron Hospice coordinates a support group program for family members and close friends who’ve lost someone to suicide. Rikki Moffat is a Grief Recovery Method Specialist with the program.
Moffat says for six consecutive weeks beginning April 13th, the virtual support group helps participants deal with the emotions they’re feeling.
While geared for adults Moffat says the program can accommodate a younger person.
The program runs from April 13th through May 18th from 7 to 8pm. This is not a drop-in style group format, and your weekly attendance at the course is vital for maximum benefit in the healing process.
