The initiative was province wide, and was created with the intention of educating drivers about the correct use of the life saving device.
Throughout the long weekend, officers issued 218 charges, including 30 seatbelt charges, 105 speeding vehicles, three racing charges, and two drivers ticketed for impaired driving.
