The president of the Ontario Medical Association agrees that a quick fix to the physician burnout plaguing the healthcare sector is to cut some red tape keeping internationally trained doctors from practising.
Dr. Rose Zacharias says the OMA is on top of the issue.
She says the number one cause of physician burnout is the administrative work now required from them, and feels there needs to be a better way to streamline or delegate that work to help ease the load on them.
