If you’ve ever been out on the water and wondered what’s lurking beneath the deep, you can find out at the Virtual Heritage Hour being hosted by The Heritage Sarnia-Lambton network.
Erin Dee-Richards, Curator and Supervisor at the Oil Museum of Canada says that the event is a great opportunity to get more familiar with local history, that’s accessible to everyone,
Dee says that the local tie is obvious, and underexplored.
The virtual heritage hour on Thursday evening titled “Rough Waters: Shipwrecks of Lambton’s Past”, will focus on the more dark and dangerous side of local shipwrecks and the history behind them.
It’s easy to get involved, as the event is happening online, and you can tune in from wherever you are. Dee says that all you have to do is register,
Registration can be found at lambtonmuseums.ca
