Late on the night of May 5, 2023, a South Bruce OPP officer stopped a vehicle along Highway 21 in the Municipality of Kincardine.
The driver had been drinking and was placed under arrest and taken in for breath tests.
A male, 22-years-old, from the Municipality of Bluewater was charged with operating a vehicle with over 80 milligrams blood alcohol level.
He will appear in court on June 14, 2023, to answer to the charges.
This is as good a time as any to remind the public that if you spot a vehicle driving erratically, and suspect that the driver is under the influence of alcohol, you should call 9-1-1 if it’s safe to do so, and provide a description of the vehicle to the operator.
