A resident has given notice to the Municipality of Huron East about a person impersonating a Huron East By-Law Officer.
The resident said the person did not present ID and refused to do so.
Huron East has confirmed that all By-Law Officers must present ID if asked to do so.
If you are wary of anyone claiming to be a Huron East By-Law Enforcement Officer you can request to see it.
If they refuse contact the Huron OPP non-emergency hotline at 1-888-310-1122 and the Municipality at a last resort.
