Goderich now has a watering regulation in place.
From May 15th to August 31st, properties with even Municipal addresses can water lawns on even numbered days between 7am and 9am and 7pm and 9pm.
Properties with odd Municipal addresses can water lawns on odd numbered days from 7am to 9am and 7pm to 9pm.
Even numbered Municipal addresses with automatic watering systems can water on even numbered days between 2:30am and 6am.
Odd numbered Municipal addresses with automatic watering systems can water on odd numbered days between 2:30am and 6am.
If you would like to water new sod, out of those time frames you will need a special permit from the town.
There is a $75 set fine for watering infraction.
