Following a collision with a storefront on Saturday afternoon, a Central Huron resident has been charged with several offenses.
The collision with the Clinton Beer Store on Mill Street caused considerable damage, and the SUV and driver left the scene before police could arrive.
The offender was tracked down, and a 60 year old man has been charged with dangerous operation, and operation while impaired, in addition to failing to remain at the scene, and driving without a license.
The accused will appear in court in Goderich on June 26th.
