The Ontario government is investing more than $300,000 into high-speed internet access for homes and businesses in Lucan-Biddulph – among other communities – through the Improving Connectivity for Ontario (ICON) program.
As part of the program the provincial government has also created a high-speed internet coverage map, where you can input your address, and find out what kind of internet infrastructure exists in your area.
The projects are part of a more than $2.3 billion investment in internet and cellular connectivity across the province.
“Reliable, high-speed internet is crucial to the way families and businesses in Southwestern Ontario live and work,” said Monte McNaughton, MPP for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex. “Our government will continue to invest in the infrastructure needed to bring high-speed internet access to everyone in our community.”
The investment is estimated to bring high-speed service to over 100 homes and businesses in the area.
