The Municipality of Bluewater is currently looking for contractors for the construction of a new elevated water tower in Hensall.
The anticipated contract will replace the existing water tower, increasing the supply volume from 450 cubic meters, to almost 1400 cubic meters.
With a current population of approximately 1200 people, the community is expected to more than double in size by 2068.
The project hopes to address the growth of the community, as well as the potential water requirement for a future ethanol plant.
