Erskine-Smith says he believes his experience on Parliament Hill will translate into being an effective leader at Queen’s Park.
The 38-year-old says he feels like he’s ready to make a major impact on the provincial scene.
He says the party needs a fresh face with fresh ideas.
MPP Ted Hsu has declared his candidacy for the top spot, and announcements are expected in the coming weeks for both MP Yasir Naqvi and Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie.
