Get ready to roll up your sleeves!
On Thursday, June 29th from 5:30 – 6:30pm, The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority is currently seeking volunteers to help plant native plant species on the Triebner Tract.
Rosalind Chang, Healthy Watersheds Technician says they’re working to restore the space to it’s natural state,
Organizers will provide equipment like gloves and trowels, but if you have your own, you’re welcome to bring them with you. High school students can also use this as an opportunity to add to their volunteer hours.
Chang says that restoring natural spaces is something that should be important to everyone, but is of special importance to her,
If you have ever felt the need to do something to help build a greener tomorrow, this is a great opportunity for you, says Chang,
