Huron OPP were on the scene of two serious collisions on Friday (July 7), which landed the operators in the hospital.
The first incident East of Dashwood on Highway 83 saw the collision of two motorcycles after the first braked, causing one of the drivers to lose control – hitting the road and breaking their leg. The 44-year-old from Waterloo was air lifted to Victoria Hospital in London with non-life-threatening injuries.
A lone driver with a serious injury was trapped after colliding with a tree in the second incident on Crediton Road near Bronson Line. Emergency responders freed the driver, who was later transported to Victoria Hospital with non-life-threatening-injuries.
Both investigations are ongoing, as alcohol may have been a factor.
