Staffing remains a focus for local hospitals as frequent nightly closures due to staffing shortages continue to plague our ERs. The Canadian Medical Association says little has changed to fix the situation in the past few months.
Local officials hope some of the money will go to eliminate staffing shortages that lead to frequent ER closures.
