3D printed handgun components, a functioning taser, and a police badge were among seizures made in a recent drug bust.
Police from Huron, Perth, Grey-Bruce and Stratford were on the scene early in the morning on Wednesday (July 12) after an arrest in Mitchell, two search warrants in Stratford and Mitchell uncovered a substantial amount drugs, cash, and weapons, valued at $156,000.
Following the arrest and seizure, Kevin Barry, a 44-year-old resident of Stratford, was charged with multiple offenses. The charges against him include possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order, and unauthorized possession of a weapon (taser).
Barry appeared before the Stratford Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday (July 13th), where the court proceedings began to address the charges against him.
