George (L) and Primeau (R) shared their passion for the community.
In a heartwarming display of community support, the cosmetics team at Exeter’s Guardian Pharmacy hosted a cosmetics extravaganza on July 13th to raise funds for Jessica’s House.
They advertised mini makeovers, nails, and eyebrow tinting services for $10 each to attract local residents to participate. The response was overwhelming, with an impressive number of walk-ins on the day of the event.
Cosmetics Manager Terri-Lynn George led the charge, organizing the event with the aim of supporting the local community.
Half of all their proceeds were earmarked for the cause, and as a result, a staggering total of $400 was raised through the sale. As a heartfelt addition, the Guardian Pharmacy itself contributed an additional $100 to the cause, bringing the grand total to $500.
When asked about the motivation behind the fundraiser Cosmetics Assistant Michelle Primeau emphasized the importance of supporting hospice care facilities like Jessica’s House – noting how much they are valued by members of the community,
Looking ahead, Guardian Pharmacy is committed to organizing more events that promote community well-being and give back to local causes. George says that they were extremely supportive of the initiative,
The success of the cosmetics extravaganza has only fueled their determination to make a positive impact and strengthen their ties with the community they serve.
