Following a brazen armed robbery in Exeter last weekend, Huron OPP have identified the suspect responsible.
On Sunday evening, a store owner on Main Street contacted police after a man entered the store, and demanded cash at gunpoint – he left with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was identified through the investigation, and today, a search warrant was carried out at a Bluewater address.
Matthew Armstrong, 41 years of age from Bluewater has been charged with armed robbery among other offenses.
He remains in custody pending a bail hearing tomorrow.
