Some local groups with a personal connection are making a difference.
Eric Campbell Ford Lincoln in Exeter partnered with the Exeter Lions to donate $5000 to Ronald McDonald House in London last week (Thursday, August 17).
President of the Lions Lee Finkbeiner stayed in the house for 34 nights, and Steve and Kim Campbell stayed there for 61 while their children received treatment, the shared experience inspired them to give back to RMHC.
The funds were raised through a partnership between the Lions and Eric Campbell Ford Lincoln – a golf tournament at the White Squirrel outside St. Joseph’s on August 12th saw co-ed participants come together for the cause.
The donation speaks to the generosity of the community – who always open their hearts and wallets to a good cause. The fundraiser was a great opportunity to say thank you for the service to the community that Ronald McDonald House provides.
