Water safety is top of mind, after two teens went missing on a paddleboard on Monday afternoon.
Just North of Goderich, the two fifteen year olds set out, without lifejackets or phones.
After they’d been missing for over two and a half hours, a concerned adult contacted OPP, and the OPP’s marine unit along with the Canadian Coast Guard were sent out in search of the pair.
The two were located unharmed, but it was a good reminder for the family – and for the public – to always practice safety while enjoying the end of the summer on Lake Huron.
