The South Huron hospital is letting residents know their emergency department is temporarily closed to all patients.
The move comes after a reported patient incident that resulted in substantial damage in the emergency department.
No staff or physicians were injured.
However, damages to the department need to be assessed by officials before being able to re-open.
Right now, the hospital believes they should be able to re-open on Monday morning.
