Elaine Hayter, Vice President of Hayters Turkey Farm says that it is a pretty overwhelming feeling to know they have been in business for 75 years.
Being in business for 75 years doesn’t happen overnight. It is something that takes hard work, dedication and a great team.
According to Lindsay Hayter, Director of People and Operations one big secret to their success is listening to their costumers, and following in the steps of the people who came before them.
Another big part of their success what brought on by the community. Elaine says she is grateful to live in Huron County where they have a wonderful community who supports each other.
Being in business for 75 years is a long time, but Hayter Farms has no plans of stopping anytime soon.
Elaine says when she looks to the future, she is excited to see the fourth generation join, and one day take over the farm.
However, its not just about family, Lindsay says they have an amazing team of people at Hayter Farms who are always ready and willing to help out, and because of it they have developed a long term relationship with their team members.
