Speeding was a big topic of discussion at last weeks Bluewater Council meeting.
Councilor Walden says speeding is still a huge issue in Bluewater, especially on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and shouldn’t be dismissed.
He says while data collected shows one thing, what he physically sees tells something completely different, however both are still a cause of concern.
Walden also said if more data was collected over weekends, the numbers would be completely different then they are now.
Manager of Public Works, Dave Kester replied to Councilor Walden saying that the priority is always public safety.
Council has not yet announced a course of action as a result of this discussion.
