It’s Crabby Joe’s game day. The Exeter Hawks play Petrolia tonight at 8pm at the South Huron Recreation Centre in Exeter.
Jack Robinson, who wears number 17 while playing defence for the Hawks, has playing there for five years, so he is no stranger to the team.
While he’s only been playing for the Hawks for five years, his career in hockey goes on longer than that.
Jack says although he has played for other teams, it is great to be playing back at home with his friends and family cheering him on.
While having his friends and family cheering him on is an amazing feeling Jack says seeing all the young fans come out to the games is a feeling like no other.
Jack is now 21 year old and will age out of the league this year, but he says just because his time with the Hawks is almost up, doesn’t mean he won’t continue playing in the future.
As we air this interview on the night of the next home game, Jack hopes to see everyone at the game.
Go tonight and cheer on your hometown Hawks! Come before or after the game and fuel up at Crabby Joe’s in Exeter.
