After our initial report on the structure fire near Bayfield last week, some developments have emerged.
At 9:50pm on October 17th, emergency services responded the fire on Highway 21.
The investigation, led by the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM), is making progress in uncovering the cause of the fire that engulfed “The Hub Restaurant,” previously known as “The Docks.”
While details were scarce last week, it’s now evident that authorities are working diligently to determine the fire’s origin. Fortunately, it was confirmed by police that there were no reported injuries during the incident, a testament to the rapid response of emergency services.
The total value of the structure and its contents is still under evaluation.
