Huron OPP has filed charges against a second suspect linked to an ongoing investigation into a series of incidents that unfolded last week that had schools in Clinton locked down.
On Wednesday, October 18, officers had a “confrontation” with two individuals resulted in one person fleeing and remaining at large, with the second reportedly being shot by police.
The second individual in question, Joshua Breau, a 35-year-old resident of Central Huron now faces a slew of charges including attempted murder, and possession of property obtained by crime.
Following his arrest, Breau underwent a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich, and he has been remanded into custody.
An arrest warrant was issued earlier this week for Karley Frayer, a 34-year-old from Huron East – she remains at large and is believed to have sustained injuries during her interaction with the police.
