Grand Bend’s vibrant Main Street and scenic parks are preparing for the ‘Lighting of the Lights’ event, a cherished tradition that ushers in the holiday spirit for the local community.
Scheduled for November 18th at 6 PM, the ‘Lighting of the Lights’ kicks off the holiday season at Rotary Beach, where Santa Claus, escorted by the local fire department, arrives in a firetruck to join the community in lighting up the decorations.
Susana Almeida, Secretary of Jingle Bells Grand Bend, emphasized the event’s growth over the years, highlighting the community support.
