In the coming weeks, the Municipality of Lambton Shores is hosting an Open House and Public Meeting that are part of a plan to make the area more appealing.
They’re looking to integrate feedback from the local community on their community improvement plan, which is being developed with the aim of providing financial support, in the form of grants, to businesses in certain areas of the community that need some extra care.
The hope is that this support will help make public spaces more attractive, improve businesses, and boost the local economy. The plan includes grants for things like fixing up building exteriors, making places more accessible, and improving energy efficiency,
The open house is coming up on Tuesday, November 21st from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm – it’s an opportunity for sit down with staff, ask questions and provide feedback on the plan. This will be followed by a public meeting on Tuesday, November 28th at 7pm – members of the public will have the opportunity to submit official statements prior to council’s consideration of the finished plan.
Have your voice heard, and let’s work together to improve our community!
