A Central Huron resident is in hot water after being charged with impaired driving and speeding in Bluewater.
Just before 9am, on the morning of September 30th, Huron OPP officers were running radar patrols along Highway 21, in an 80 km/hr speed zone. A vehicle was stopped for speeding, and upon approaching the driver, the investigating officer had reason to believe that the driver had consumed alcohol before taking the wheel.
The driver provided a breath sample, revealing that they were driving under the influence. The individual was promptly arrested for impaired operation.
A 20-year-old resident of Central Huron, now faces charges of impaired operation and speeding, they are scheduled to appear in court on December 4th.
