Huron OPP’s Festive RIDE Program, running now until January 1st, 2024.
Constable Craig Soldan, Media Relations Officer with Huron OPP says the Festive RIDE Program is very important during the holiday season.
During the Festive RIDE Program, OPP wont just be looking for impaired drivers, but all sorts of driving infractions.
Soldan says they have something new to help out during the program.
He also has a reminder for drivers under the age of 22.
There are multiple other options to consider such as calling a cab, planning to stay the night, or having a designated driver.
Soldan says those who don’t follow the laws will have to face the consequences.
Remember, NEVER drink and drive!
