2023 may have been a year for the books for you, but how did our local business community fare?
Exeter BIA manager Rob Ross cited many successful events that united the community, and brought everyone together.
Despite the successes, Ross acknowledged challenges, particularly the impact of inflation on residents and businesses.
The BIA has focused on hosting free and affordable events, encouraging residents to support local businesses. Ross emphasized the importance of community engagement beyond shopping, highlighting events that foster a sense of unity.
Ross revealed exciting plans for 2024, including a revamped flower program, the final unveiling of the Exeter mural, and potential improvements to the Parkette.
Ross expressed a commitment to community involvement, looking forward to introducing committees to give businesses and residents a voice in shaping the town’s future.
Looking ahead to 2024, the BIA also aims to further enhance accessibility standards and ensure that Exeter remains a welcoming community for everyone.
