Dark Horse Estate Winery, located outside Grand Bend, is getting ready for its yearly Shamrock Gala – it’s coming up on Saturday, March 16th.
Production Manager, Craig Horlor says this event has been happening in the community for sometime now, in honour of someone very important to him.

Past Shamrock Gala’s have been an incredible success, and they hope to see everyone out again this year | Photo submitted
This marks the sixth year of the fundraising gala, and Horlor mentioned that local businesses have contributed to the event to boost its fundraising capacity.
The Shamrock Gala will have a dinner buffet, live and silent auctions, entertainment by a local band, and a talk by author, podcaster, and motivational speaker Haley Bowler-Cooke.
This event, once again, will be a fundraiser for the Huron-Perth Centre, which provides free mental health and other services to child and youth in the community.
There are limited tickets still available for the event, and Horlor is hoping to see a full crowd.
If you want tickets for the Shamrock Gala, go to the Dark Horse Estate website at darkhorseestatewinery.com. For additional details about the Huron-Perth Centre, check out www.hpcentre.on.ca.
