Residents relying on the emergency services provided by South Huron Hospital (SHH) are advised of a temporary closure affecting the hospital’s emergency department. Beginning tonight (March 13) at 11:00 PM, the emergency department will cease operations until tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM.
The closure is necessitated by planned and mandatory power distribution work, which requires the temporary shutdown of essential services.
Patients in need of immediate medical assistance during the closure hours are advised to seek assistance from neighboring healthcare facilities or to dial emergency services for guidance.
