According to a post on X, Huron Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) recently apprehended a speeding driver in downtown Exeter.
The 31-year-old driver from South Huron was caught driving at 98 km/h in a 50 km/h zone, nearly double the legal limit.
The driver faced immediate repercussions – with their driver’s licence suspended for 30 days, and their vehicle impounded for 14 days. The driver will now have to walk to court to address these charges.
