Manager of the Exeter Community Food Bank, Laurie Clapp says without the help of volunteers, the food bank wouldn’t be able to do what they do.
Volunteers have many reasons as to why they volunteer and for how long, but Clapp has a theory of her own.
If you are looking to volunteer, but don’t have a lot of time on your hands, Clapp says they food bank is the perfect place for you.
According to Clapp, volunteers aren’t just needed to stock shelves, but also to be there to form a connection with those who walk through the food banks doors.
