Police are asking for help with a murder investigation in Central Huron.
They want to talk to anyone who was near Holmesville Public School on Cut Line Road between 12:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. on July 2, 2024. Drivers who were in the area are also asked to check their dashcams for any helpful footage.
On July 2nd, at 4:18 p.m., Huron County OPP and emergency services went to a location on Cut Line Road, where a young person was found, taken to the hospital, and later pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing with the Huron County OPP Crime Unit and OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, along with OPP Forensic Identification Services and the Office of the Chief Coroner.
Anyone with information should call the Huron County OPP.
