A 55-year-old Lucan man has been charged following reports from the public about a possible impaired driver on Prince William Street in North Middlesex.
On July 5th at around 9:30 p.m., Middlesex County OPP responded and located the vehicle in Lucan, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.
It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol and was placed under arrest. The 55-year-old has been charged with Operation while impaired and Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in September to answer to the charges.
