Heavy rain, at times very heavy, is expected this morning with showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall amounts could reach up to 80 mm, with rates of 40 mm an hour.
These downpours can cause flash floods, water pooling on roads, and localized flooding in low-lying areas. Watch for potential washouts near rivers, creeks, and culverts.
