- EarlyON – Seaforth @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am. FREE. Join us indoors at Northside United Church, Seaforth. Enter the parking lot off of Church Street. Watch for our EarlyON sign closest to the door that you’ll enter. If the door is locked, ring the doorbell to the upper right of the door. For Parents/Caregivers with children 0-6 years. Register to join us to connect with other families and EarlyON Facilitators, engage in play-based activities, sing interactive songs and chat about topics of interest to parents.
- Ukulele for Kids! – Goderich @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Introduce your child to the joy of playing the ukulele in this fun and interactive session at the Goderich Branch! Ukulele will be provided. - Police Storytime – Clinton @ 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Come meet a local OPP Police Officer at the Clinton Branch as they read us a story and share some safety tips. - Family Community Garden: Exeter @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm. Rural Response for Healthy Children- Family Community Garden- Exeter Location. This program is for parents/caregivers with young children. We will be exploring all the offerings of a community garden from spring to summer! This program is based on the Rainbow Food Explorers program, which supports the development of life-long healthy eating habits by encouraging parents and young children to explore and experience rainbows of fruits and vegetables, using all of their senses.
- Seaforth Library Book Club @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. Seaforth Library Book Club meets the 3rd Thursday of each month from noon until 1pm. Everyone welcome. Please contact the library for the title of the month.
- Knitting Group – Bayfield Branch @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Knit, relax and meet fellow knitters each week at the Bayfield Branch. All are welcome to drop into this free program to knit together and share tips and tricks. Please note this program is community-led.

Book a 30-minute, in-person session at Bayfield Branch, to get help with how to use library e-resources, how to use your new device and/or how to use your email account. Join us for a variety of activities to enhance all areas of your child’s development, connect with our staff and other families, and end the group with a circle time of songs and a story. Pre-registration on www.keyon.ca for Huron EarlyON programs is no longer required, yet still recommended. EarlyON programs will admit participants until capacity levels are reached.
- Virtual Reality Free Play – Goderich @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Discover the Huron County Library’s exciting new Virtual Reality headset by booking a session at the Goderich Branch today! Participants can dive into the action with games like Beat Saber, explore the globe through immersive travel experiences, enjoy a relaxing round of mini golf, meditate in serene virtual environments, and so much more! Hardware issues or highly specific questions may require the assistance of qualified computer service technicians. Registration Required. - Brussels Farmers’ Market @ 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Browse the venders at the Brussels Farmers’ Market located at 589 Turnberry Street or “Richmond Square”. The 2024 Brussels Farmers’ Market takes place on select Fridays from 2:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.
