Participants can dive into the action with games like Beat Saber, explore the globe through immersive travel experiences, enjoy a relaxing round of mini golf, meditate in serene virtual environments, and so much more! - Tech Time – Wingham @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. FREE. The Alice Munro Branch, Wingham, hosts Tech Time each Friday afternoon. Book a 30-minute session to receive one-on-one help with library e-resources, your device, and/or your email account. Lessons are limited to the technical knowledge of library staff. Hardware issues or highly specific questions may require the assistance of qualified computer service technicians. Registration Required. - Brussels Farmers’ Market @ 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Browse the venders at the Brussels Farmers’ Market located at 589 Turnberry Street or “Richmond Square”. The 2024 Brussels Farmers’ Market takes place on select Fridays from 2:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.

Participants will learn through real-world tasks over a 13-week course. Note: This program is not affiliated with the Centre for Employment & Learning or the Avon Maitland District School Board. - Blyth Festival Art Gallery: Poetry In The Gallery-Jillian Morris @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. FREE. Join us for evening of poetry in the gallery starting at 7pm featuring the work of Jillian Morris. Jillian Morris is a writer, poet, and columnist, whose work is regularly featured in local and regional publications. She is Collingwood’s current Poet Laureate. Her writings are heavily influenced by her Haudenosaunee roots, her cultural teachings, and the responsibilities she carries as a life promoter. Jillian is committed to fostering good relationships, healthy dialogue, and using storytelling to bridge cultures.
- Move for Freedom. Human trafficking is a grave injustice that affects millions of people worldwide, with an estimated 1 in 3 victims being a child. This crisis is happening both globally and locally, and our community can play a vital role in fighting against it. Together, we can prevent human trafficking and support survivors of exploitation. On July 20th, our team, Team Vitality, will be participating in Move for Freedom to raise $10,000 for Ally Global Foundation—a Canadian charity dedicated to preventing human trafficking and helping survivors find healing. - Lucan’s Summerfest Show and Shine by Goldie Innovative Technologies @ Lucan Community Centre (Behind Hub Roadhouse). Goldie Innovative Technologies show and shine carshow, (classics to exotics and trucks) in partnership with Lucan’s Summerfest on July 20th 9am-2pm on location lot, North Parking Lot (behind old Hub Roadhouse) at 263 Main St, Lucan Community Centre. $15/vehicle at the gate for prizing eligibility, free to visitors.
