The LCBO and the union representing 10,000 of its workers reached a tentative agreement on Saturday, ending a strike that lasted more than two weeks.
This agreement came a day after the deal between the LCBO and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) was put on hold.
Both sides have now agreed to a return-to-work protocol without adding any new monetary items, according to an LCBO statement, today (Saturday).
On Friday, OPSEU had said that the LCBO was refusing to sign a return-to-work protocol that would have workers return on Monday. After a brief news conference by the union, both sides resumed negotiations later that afternoon.
