On July 21st just after 2:30 a.m., Lambton County OPP officers responded to a dangerous driving report on Government Road in Grand Bend. They stopped the vehicle and found the driver to be impaired.
A 40 year old, from Strathroy-Caradoc, has been charged.
Driver was charged with:
Impaired operation of a vehicle (alcohol and drugs)
Operation with a blood alcohol concentration over 80
Dangerous operation
Mischief (making property dangerous, useless, or ineffective)
The driver received a 90-day driver’s license suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment. He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia at a later date.
