- EarlyON – Seaforth @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am. FREE. Join us indoors at Northside United Church, Seaforth *Enter the parking lot off of Church Street. Watch for our EarlyON sign closest to the door that you’ll enter. If the door is locked, ring the doorbell to the upper right of the door.
- Family Community Garden: Exeter @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm. Rural Response for Healthy Children- Family Community Garden- Exeter Location. This program is for parents/caregivers with young children. We will be exploring all the offerings of a community garden from spring to summer! This program is based on the Rainbow Food Explorers program, which supports the development of life-long healthy eating habits by encouraging parents and young children to explore and experience rainbows of fruits and vegetables, using all of their senses.
- Knitting Group – Bayfield Branch @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Knit, relax and meet fellow knitters each week at the Bayfield Branch. All are welcome to drop into this free program to knit together and share tips and tricks. Please note this program is community-led.
- Tech Time – Bayfield @ 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm. Book a 30-minute, in-person session at Bayfield Branch, to get help with how to use library e-resources, how to use your new device and/or how to use your email account. Please bring your device(s) and any information to help with your question (error messages/email information, etc.) REGISTRATION: Please contact the branch to arrange a session by emailing bayfieldlibrary@huroncounty.ca or calling 519-565-2886.
- Lego Free Play – Goderich @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Drop into the Goderich Branch Thursday afternoons to create with LEGO! This is a drop-in program no registration is necessary.
- Card Night – Blyth Library Branch @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. FREE. Drop into the Blyth Branch each Thursday for an evening of cards. Play a familiar game of cards, or learn a new one, and have some fun at the library!
- Behind the Bars @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Behind the Bars is an interactive tour of the Huron Historic Gaol where visitors can meet in-costume actors portraying real inmates and staff from the past! Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the last tour begins at 8:00pm. Visitors will have different starting points to their tour of this national historic site, and explore at their own pace as they hear the true stories of the people who lived and worked at the gaol in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

- Fire Hall Fridays – Clinton @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Tour the Fire Hall and Apparatus up close and learn about fire safety and prevention! Every Friday 10am-2pm at the Central Huron Fire Hall from July 12 to August 30, 2024.
- Service Canada in your Community – Bayfield @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Service Canada provides Canadians with a single point of access to a wide range of government services and benefits through the Internet, by telephone, in person, or by email.
- Virtual Reality Free Play – Goderich @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Discover the Huron County Library’s exciting new Virtual Reality headset by booking a session at the Goderich Branch today! Participants can dive into the action with games like Beat Saber, explore the globe through immersive travel experiences, enjoy a relaxing round of mini golf, meditate in serene virtual environments, and so much more!
- Virtual Reality Tournament: Mini Golf – Goderich @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm. Enter the Goderich Branch’s Virtual Reality Mini Golf Tournament and showcase your putting skills through a series VR courses. Compete against other players in a quest to become the ultimate mini golf champion. AGES: 13-18 REGISTRATION: Please contact the Goderich Branch to book your one-hour VR experience! - Tech Time – Wingham @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. FREE, The Alice Munro Branch, Wingham, hosts Tech Time each Friday afternoon. Book a 30-minute session to receive one-on-one help with library e-resources, your device, and/or your email account. Lessons are limited to the technical knowledge of library staff. Hardware issues or highly specific questions may require the assistance of qualified computer service technicians. Registration Required.
