Huron County OPP has charged a Bluewater resident with a criminal driving offense following a road rage incident in the Municipality of Bluewater on July 1st, 2024.
At around 10:15 p.m. on Monday, July 1st, Huron County OPP received a report of an incident on Staffa Road in Bluewater. The complainant provided details about the suspect vehicle, its driver, and the license plate number. Police went to the vehicle owner’s address and found the suspect vehicle. When speaking to the suspected driver, the officer believed the driver had been drinking and asked for a breath sample. The driver refused and was arrested.
A 52 year old from Bluewater, has been charged with failing or refusing to comply with a breath sample demand.
The vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days, and the driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
