The Huron County OPP Crime Unit has charged a 27-year-old man from Cambridge, with six criminal offenses after an investigation into child luring.
The investigation began in March 2024 when police received a report about someone communicating with a child under 13 years old on a social media site. Police identified and arrested the suspect, who now faces the following charges:
Sharing sexually explicit material with someone under 18.
Sharing sexually explicit material with someone under 16.
Luring a person under 18 through telecommunication.
Luring a person under 16 through telecommunication.
Inviting sexual touching of someone under 16.
Possessing child pornography.
The suspect was held for a bail hearing and is now in custody, with a court appearance scheduled in Goderich in August 2024.
Police think there may be more incidents involving the suspect, who used online usernames like “Stintam,” “Stalkham,” “Jason Stintam,” and “Jason Stalkham.” Bitmoji images used by the suspect are included in the pictures below.
