Huron County OPP has charged a resident of Central Huron with impaired driving after a traffic stop on Friday, August 2nd.
Huron County OPP officers noticed a vehicle not staying in its lane while driving west on Huron Road in Huron East. After stopping the vehicle, police determined that the driver had been drinking. The driver failed a roadside breath test and was arrested for impaired driving. Further tests showed the driver’s breath alcohol level was over twice the legal limit.
As a result, a 32 year old, from Central Huron, has been charged with impaired driving and other traffic-related offenses. His vehicle was impounded for seven days, and his driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
